Audemars Piguet at Art Basel Miami Beach

The Swiss fine watchmaking Manufacture Audemars Piguet unveiled a large-scale art installation on the Miami Beach oceanfront : Slow-Moving Luminaries, by the multidisciplinary artist Lars Jan
A Mazarine MA3 Agency New York production.

As part of the 16th Art Basel Miami Beach, one of the world’s most important contemporary art shows, Audemars Piguet presents an installation with a message. A profoundly experiential work that invites visitors to question the relationship between humans and nature. With this new artistic collaboration, Audemars Piguet is pursuing its strong commitment to art and the environment.

On the upper level, miniature buildings appear and disappear from the pool through the day, echoing the outline of the neighboring skyscrapers. The mechanically complex installation evokes buildings submerged as a result of climate change.

In striking contrast, the lower level reveals a labyrinth of plant-based elements.
